In collaboration with the National Open University of Nigeria, Iwo Study Center, the Psycho-Oncology Society of Nigeria took cancer awareness to mothers attending the immunization clinic at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Iwo. Mothers were taught to do breast self-examination and to identify early warning signs of cervical cancer. They were also educated on the early warning signs of retinoblastoma in young children.
